Big Bust?!? Why Are Ads Down Despite 2008 Presidential Campaign Advertising?

Q&A — Question :: Is the USA Headed into a Recession or Depression?

How bad is it? Considering the 2008 Election is coming to a close today, it seems to be quite bad. Advertising spending is down despite campaign advertising for today’s presidential elections.

I will be watching for statistics related to presidential campaign ad spending and posting data as it becomes available at Candidates2008.INFO.

What about Christmas?

Perhaps something amazingly wonderful will happen… — a miracle?

What about the Economy?

My hunch is that 2009 will be one of the worst years in decades.

What about the World?

I think the result of this economic recession / depression will be a significant shift in the “balance of power” among the world’s largest economies.
