I love Danny’s jokes — but in [2] this case I’m not sure if he was joking or not.
Avoid Fraud by Avoiding Links — Is Google Listening?
Danny suggests to not follow links, but rather to navigate to sites “the old fashioned way” (direct navigation). Barry Schwartz recommends right-clicking on links and copying them into text editors. Either way, the result is: use the correct domain name / web address. Danny and Barry joke that people who are not able to navigate to the correct domains are “screwed”.
